Inspired by the song 'We Go Down Together' by Dove Cameron and Khalid, we have created a dance performance video in the contemporary style. The lyrics of this song describe a toxic relationship so we used this to make choreography that focused on manipulating each other. We wanted the video to convey the emotions of loving someone you know is bad for you and utilised partner work to show that message. The lyric video for this song is in black and white with two orbs floating around throughout. This influenced us to make the video black and white also. We hope you enjoy!
Linking to our concept video, our instructional video teaches you how to perform 3 contemporary floor work moves. A dolphin roll, around the world and a starfish/arm cut. Inspired by the hit TV show 'Euphoria' we created a heels concept video using the music from the series soundtrack. We were inspired by the blue iridescent costuming in Euphoria and wanted to portray this aesthetic in our video too. We thought heels was perfect for this concept as the show explores owning your sexuality and heels encompasses that sensuality as well as empowerment. We hope it inspires you!
